| Alan joined IPM early in 2004 after completing a Bachelor of Science with first class honours (Chemistry) at the University of Tasmania. Alan has worked as a Chemist for a range of Tasmanian industries including; Norske Skog, Botanical Resources Australia and the University of Tasmania. Alan's focus is on providing specialist safety and hazard control advice to clients, particularly in the areas of hazardous substances and dangerous goods, including employee chemical hazard awareness training. Alan is studying for a graduate diploma in occupational hygiene with Deakin University and currently provides technical support to our occupational hygiene team including the provision of workplace monitoring services. Alan has also developed a healthy attitude to safety through his participation in a range of outdoor activities including; rock climbing, kayaking and mountain biking. |
