| Niraj has a Masters in Industrial Hygiene in collaboration with University of Cincinnati, OHIO, USA, a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety and a Bachelor of Science. Niraj is a provisional member of Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienist (AIOH) and Certified Professional Member of Safety Institute of Australia (SIA). He has more than nine years of experience in occupational health and safety including 2 years in Victoria and Tasmania. He has worked with several multi-national corporations, with pharmaceutical R&D companies, and in government, mining and manufacturing industries. Niraj worked as an Occupational Hygienist and OH&S Consultant with a Bureau Veritas, USA which included review of the Management Action Plan (MAP) and conducting Occupational Hygiene monitoring for their multi-national clients such as Johnson & Johnson and Johnson Controls at more than 30 workplaces in the Asia/Pacific region. He worked as an Occupational Hygienist with a Bureau Veritas Australia which included responsibility such as obtaining and maintaining a NATA accredited asbestos counting signatory at Geelong in Victoria. Niraj’s current role in IPM is conducting a range of consultancy tasks in occupational hygiene and safety including airborne contaminant sampling, workplace inspections, noise monitoring, risk assessments and gap analysis. He enjoys playing cricket, meeting friends and participates in cultural activities.
